@havok I don't have a website or autotroll running, was just planning on manually hosting. I don't know what the traffic is like to CM, however I'm guessing there isn't enough to generate sufficient interest, hence the suggestion of putting an email out there to all previous players registered with the site.
You won't know until you try, and while the site doesn't have a lot of posting in the forums, it does get decent traffic. If you want to create a game and give me the stat's, I'll make up a banner image like the old days and make a post for it and direct them to wherever you want me to direct them.
I suggest setting up a unique email address just for your hosting.

sad to say, but I believe the game and the community has faded away. I agree, Planets New for me is not what I like to play, so I tried to bring up High Command again with a new site. It was online for a year and only 5 players joined and none of them was interested in a game so far. Maybe it's because of the technical problems with running the planets stuff.
I had Autotroll reinstalled and running and if there are enough players for a game I would be willing to do the setup and the hosting and play the Lizards. I have Win 7 running on a VM and this looks like a usable solution.

If High Command is currently setup to easily run a game that would be the best way to go. I'm happy to mock-up some graphics and and basic game design. Perhaps if we get a minimum of six players that are good to go we could kick things off?

To say I'm online is maybe too much 😉. Because of lack of interest I have currently no site, but I have autotroll running to define and host games. What I not have activated are the web templates, the ranking and the mailing system (I especially have to care about the mailing system). But for one game there will be a solution for sending RSTs and receiving the TRNs.I will be away for holidays the next 2 weeks, so enough time to send me the config and then I'll do the game setup and we can care for players by doing announcements.
By the way, any ideas about that:
After the hosting of the game I get an error message from AT saying "Invalid floating point operation". Might be something with the config of AT. I had this once and I solved it but I don't know how anymore. At least it is shown after the game hosting has ended, so it does not influence this.

If you've got a functioning Autotroll then you're way ahead of the curve than myself as I was just thinking of manually running the host. We won't need anything fancy like a scoring system or web interface, just the base Autotroll function to start off with.
Havok - what size graphic would work best for your website? I've got Gil's email address somewhere and maybe a few others - would be good to get the word out 😀
I have an idea how to get the automated mailing running but therefor I need Win7. So my current config is:
Win7 Pro SP1 on Oracle virtual Box, assisted by DosBox to run the batches
